📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including AR, AP and general ledger • Perform flawless bank reconciliations and streamline invoicing processes • Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll tax, workers compensation and R&D tax • Coordinate Australian R&D and tax compliance with external accountants • Create P&L reports by consultant and build dynamic financial dashboards • Monitor utilisation rates and identify cost-saving opportunities • Optimise Harvest time tracking, develop finance policies and onboard employees into finance systems • Remote work from Australia's East Coast supporting a team of software technologists

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + 3+ years experience • Xero accounting software expertise and advanced Excel skills • Multi-state payroll tax, workers compensation, and multi-currency knowledge • Australian R&D taxation regulation understanding + current Criminal Record check • Experience with Harvest, Dext and time-tracking/expense systems • CPA or CA qualification (preferred)
