• Responsible for ongoing accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, entries, reconciliations, bank transactions). • Support monthly routines and ensure clean, timely processes (entries, reconciliations, basic reporting). • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings. • Coordinate with our tax advisors in Germany and Switzerland (prepare documents, handle queries, ensure compliance). • Maintain, structure and further develop our financial data in DATEV, Bexio and Qonto. • Monitor key financial metrics such as average prices, margins and cost trends. • Support profitability analyses, product cost calculations and ad-hoc financial analyses. • Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes: prepare data, check plausibility and identify variances. • Actively contribute to optimizing our accounting and finance processes as we grow.
• Degree in finance, economics or accounting, or a commercial apprenticeship with a solid understanding of accounting and financial processes. • At least 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a finance-related role. • Confident with numbers and a good understanding of accounting and financial principles. • Structured, precise and responsible working style — you spot discrepancies and follow them up proactively. • Interest in taking on basic controlling tasks, profitability analyses and forecast support in addition to bookkeeping. • Very good German and good English skills. • Bonus: Experience with DATEV, Bexio, Qonto or experience in an e-commerce/startup environment.
