📋 Description

• Provide exceptional, "five-star" customer service and build rapport with patients. • Take a patient-first approach to resolving patient inquiries related to billing. • Answer incoming patient calls and e-mails related to billing inquiries. • Take ownership of resolution on behalf of the patients in "real time" or through comprehensive and timely follow-up. • Correct and resubmit claims to payers. • Review unpaid and/or denied claims and submit appeals. • Follow-up with insurance companies, addressing denials and rejections, etc. • Perform other Medical/Healthcare billing duties as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Patient-first attitude and ability to consistently provide 5-star service • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, Chiropractic and/or Acupuncture billing highly desired • 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced healthcare call center or customer service role • Energetic and outgoing personality with a desire to help people • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including by phone and e-mail • Strong attention to detail and highly organized • Knowledge of medical billing collection/practices • Strong problem solving skills, ability to analyze an issue and recommend a solution • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team • Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
