📋 Description

• Visit customer sites across the allocated area • Inspect electrical installations and associated equipment in commercial and industrial environments • Undertake statutory examinations of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems • Assess electrical systems and identify potential safety concerns • Produce clear, professional inspection reports and recommendations • Provide expert advice and support to customers on compliance and operational integrity • Build and maintain trusted customer relationships • Manage an independent inspection schedule and workload • Prioritise and plan site visits and inspections • Work with Engineer Surveyors and Team Leaders • Participate in Allianz’s induction, training and ongoing technical development programmes

🎯 Requirements

• Level 3 qualification (or higher) in an electrical engineering-related discipline • BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition) qualification • Practical experience in low-voltage electrical installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and fault finding • Experience gained within commercial, industrial or comparable electrical environments • Sound understanding of relevant electrical regulations, standards and safe systems of work • Awareness of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems and the key principles of COSHH regulations • Full UK driving licence • Strong organisational and time-management skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Competent in the use of tablets, smartphones and digital reporting systems • Willingness or ability to travel to customer sites and carry out inspections • Commitment to continuous professional development • Desirable: previous experience working as an Engineer Surveyor • Desirable: C&G2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent • Desirable: experience carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) • Desirable: knowledge of LEV systems and associated inspection requirements • Desirable: experience producing technical reports and compliance documentation • Desirable: Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status or working towards professional registration • Desirable: experience across a broad range of electrical installations and industrial environments • Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage
