📋 Description

• Work on the backend, supporting complex initiatives to design, develop, and implement maintainable and scalable product features using modern web technologies (Python, Django, MySQL) (60%) • Work on the frontend (React) (10%) • Own and plan projects with stakeholders, operation leads, product managers, and designers and guide execution and delivery (20%) • Own team quality practices and push for improvements (10%) • Build features that solve real problems for mental health providers and help define Alma's features, services, and architecture • Collaborate with other teams to design and build digital experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as an engineer with a proven history of working across the stack and building products at scale • Extensive experience with web technologies • Experience with one or more common web frameworks • Experience with Python, Django, MySQL, and React (stack referenced in job) • Strong understanding of accessibility and security compliance • Implemented automated testing platforms and unit tests • Understanding of observability and monitoring best practices • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git • Experience working with junior engineers and providing mentorship • Experience leading medium sized projects, including problem architecture/solutioning, breaking work into actionable tasks, and tracking progress to code completion delivery • Ability to accurately communicate expectations with stakeholders • Desire to experiment and use research and data to make data-driven decisions
