📋 Description

• Lead Frontend Engineer will develop high-performing SaaS platforms and eCommerce storefronts within Shopify Plus and Headless Commerce ecosystem • Collaborate with designers, strategists, and backend engineers to build engaging, conversion-optimized UIs • Develop and optimize frontend applications; ensure performance, accessibility, and scalability; maintain best practices • Expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript; component-driven architecture; eCommerce best practices • Creative problem solver with UI/UX excellence; agile environment; mentorship for junior engineers • AOA is a digital agency serving eCommerce and SaaS clients; career growth and ownership • Responsibilities: deliver high-quality frontend experiences; lead frontend development; implement scalable component architectures; collaborate with designers and product teams; optimize performance, accessibility, SEO; integrate APIs/GraphQL; code reviews and documentation; planning poker; stay ahead of emerging frontend tech; participate in agile sprints and deployment strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance applications • Strong expertise in React and Next.js, with a deep understanding of component-based architecture and state management • Experience optimizing frontend performance, including lazy loading, code splitting, and image optimization • Strong proficiency with APIs, GraphQL, and RESTful services • Understanding Headless CMS and eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Contentful, Sanity, etc.) • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize frontend applications • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Experience working in a client-focused environment, preferably within an agency • Experience building and optimizing eCommerce storefronts with Shopify Plus or other platforms • Knowledge of Headless Commerce architecture and best practices
