📋 Description

• Identify and evaluate third-party quantitative and qualitative datasets and content for the AlphaSense platform • Work with Partnership Management and Content Leads to assess data quality, methodology, licensing terms, and integration feasibility • Lead active vendor evaluations, including data trials and proofs of concept • Own the framework for evaluating coverage, timeliness, accuracy, and historical data • Build business cases for new datasets and quantify value proposition, cost, buy-versus-build impact, and strategic fit • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation • Identify high-impact AI-driven functionality and datasets • Formulate licensing, target-vendor, or self-sourcing strategies for introducing new content into the AlphaSense platform and agentic workflows • Track industry trends, competing platforms, solutions, and content • Deliver competitive intelligence and help evolve product and content vision • Monitor client expectations and advances in LLM and AI workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of work experience at a leading financial institution or investment research platform firm focused on delivery or evaluation of content, features, analytics, and models for front-office investment professionals • Expert knowledge of contemporary market data and investment research databases, products, and workflow tools, including Fundamentals, Estimates, Transactions data, Ownership data, Market data, News, and Transcripts • Experience collaborating with cross-functional product development or evaluation teams of engineers, content leads, and vendor management professionals • Thorough understanding of relational and JSON databases • Experience running complex data queries and analyses using traditional data-query or contemporary generative AI techniques • Ability to set priorities, stay focused, and meet or beat deadlines • BSc degree or material academic background in a quantitative analysis field • Genuine knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment research, with data management expertise • Expert-level data analysis at scale using traditional data query or generative AI tools and platforms • Excellent presentation skills and ability to inform and influence executives and align with multiple stakeholder levels • Experience driving successful due diligence project outcomes or running content evaluations with diverse businesses and teams across multiple locations • Empathic communication and ability to listen and identify problems in need of solutions • Preferred: experience in content acquisition and licensing • Preferred: prior experience at a market intelligence or financial research SaaS start-up • Preferred: exposure to iterative/agile development methodologies in product development • Preferred: experience working with distributed teams
