📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS/software licensing, partnerships, and supplier contracts • Act as a key legal contact for business stakeholders, providing clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice • Take ownership of legal support for designated business areas • Identify and implement improvements to legal processes, workflows, and ways of working • Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and internal guidance • Collaborate with a multi-jurisdictional legal team • Manage external counsel and support disputes where required • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments in the gaming and technology sectors • Support strategic business initiatives, including new product development

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years PQE (post qualification experience) as a solicitor, advocate or equivalent required – this is a guideline so if you feel that you are suitable, please still apply • Strong grounding in commercial and contract law • Experience in the gaming industry/software development industry is advantageous but not essential • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage priorities • Experience improving legal processes, templates, or ways of working is highly desirable • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills • Ability to provide practical, business-focused advice in a clear and concise manner • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively across different jurisdictions and cultures • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and interest in the gaming/technology space • Experience working with legal technology tools (e.g. CLM systems, document automation) is advantageous • Interest in leveraging AI and legal technology to improve legal service delivery and efficiency is desirable.
