📋 Description
• Review and edit subtitles for accuracy, grammar, cultural relevance, and alignment with audio/visual content • Perform quality checks on dubbing materials, ensuring proper synchronization, timing, and lip-sync accuracy • Conduct detailed QC checks to confirm subtitles and dubbing meet technical and client specifications • Test synchronized content across platforms and devices for consistency • Identify and resolve issues related to formatting, timing, and synchronization prior to final delivery
🎯 Requirements
• University degree in Audiovisual Arts, Media, or a related field • 5 – 10 years of experience in subtitle editing and quality control within the media localisation industry • Strong knowledge of subtitling tools and technologies • Solid understanding of synchronization techniques and QC processes • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills • High attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines • Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are an advantage.
