📋 Description

• Ameresco’s Operations & Maintenance Group seeks Electrician for Solar O&M servicing Hornell, NY area. • Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain commercial or utility solar facilities; repair, test, install, remove, and maintain solar equipment (panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, SCADA). • Read and interpret manuals, blueprints and control system drawings; complete written/electronic records; supervise and train apprentice electricians. • Recognize safety hazards and follow safety guidelines; be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in lieu of diploma. • Minimum of 2+ years experience of industrial solar electric/electronic maintenance experience in the repair, inspection, testing, installation and/or maintenance of related electrical/electronic equipment. • Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by state of residence. • Knowledge of electricity, voltage and current relationships for both AC and DC circuits. • Knowledge of Solar PV a plus. • Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements. • Ability to push, pull, bend, stand, stoop, lift, carry, reach, climb, hear, see, and work on ladders for extended periods of time with hands and arms at heights to install and troubleshoot equipment. • OSHA training and certification preferred.
