📋 Description

• Support the production of monthly management accounts • Own project performance sheets for relevant business streams within Engineering • Work with the business to resolve queries and understand business performance • Input monthly results into the Group consolidation tool • Complete audit packs for interim and annual audit processes • Support forecast and budget files and related summary files • Understand and improve WIP and debt positions within relevant businesses • Ensure the business maintains a clean balance sheet position • Report financial information to non-finance stakeholders in an understandable way • Produce ad hoc information and reports as requested • Recommend improvements to current systems and processes • Cover other management accounts and the Finance Manager as required • Report to the Finance Manager for Engineering and interface with stakeholders across the business and Consulting finance team

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified in a Professional Accountancy Qualification – ACCA / CIMA • Experience in Management Accounts • Ability to achieve tight deadlines with a high degree of quality and understanding • Strong IT skills, ideally including good knowledge of Excel and SAP • Good knowledge of basic accounting practices • Experience of forecasting • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong, positive relationships with all stakeholders • Proactive and organised to gain correct information from stakeholders in a timely manner • Ability to work alone and in a wider team
