• Develop and support improvement projects and programmes aligned with Amey’s overall business strategy • Deliver business improvement training products and transfer improvement skills through projects • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through engagement with business leaders and staff • Develop, review and analyse Amey KPIs, contract and functional performance frameworks, and management information • Undertake diagnostic and benchmarking exercises to support decision-making • Develop, deliver and support strategic improvement projects, change programmes, mobilisation and integration exercises, and innovation • Develop and implement Amey’s ameyINTEGRATES management system • Facilitate communities of practice to identify and share improvement opportunities and support work winning • Challenge existing processes and introduce approaches that improve process quality, efficiency and effectiveness • Build stakeholder relationships through consultation, advice, facilitation and conflict resolution • Deploy process improvement tools and techniques to schedule, plan, track and correct process performance • Communicate complex information and client requirements clearly in writing and orally • Influence and persuade stakeholders and customers regarding proposed approaches • Direct, manage and motivate improvement and project teams • Plan and manage resource deployment to meet improvement objectives
• A Project Management qualification, preferably at degree level or equivalent • Proven experience in infrastructure project management, ideally within the Highways, renewable energy, utilities or transportation sectors • Excellent stakeholder management experience • Ability to develop and deliver multiple improvement projects with successful outcomes • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Strong financial and commercial awareness • Understanding of the commercial impact of improvement projects and change programmes • Willingness to travel across the UK
