📋 Description

• Implement strategy compliant with the Amey Freedom to Perform approach, governance, and legislation to recover contractual entitlement • Develop client relationships to support successful account delivery • Drive consistency of commercial processes before and after contract • Implement commercial best practice to maximise value and minimise risk • Work with finance on project cost control, including budgets, forecasts, and CVRs • Manage the change process and review proposed changes • Ensure payment applications are paid on time and in line with contracts • Support wider bidding and estimating teams with strategic bids • Provide commercial support and expertise to implement commercial strategy • Perform line management and people management duties • Support change management and promote Amey in retaining and winning work

🎯 Requirements

• Quantity surveying degree or similar is desirable • Strong commercial and finance acumen • Sound knowledge of standard forms of contract • Industry awareness • Ability to build excellent client relationships • Good negotiation skills • Excellent IT skills, including confident use of Excel and other Microsoft applications • People management experience • Experience in commercial and finance budgeting and reporting • Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check before commencing employment • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
