• Provide fair, balanced, objective scientific information and education to healthcare professionals and internal partners • Stay informed on current scientific and treatment landscape trends in hemato-oncology • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, medical thought leaders, key opinion leaders, investigators, and academic centers • Identify and engage key stakeholders across multiple European countries • Drive thought leader engagement and gather competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making • Support and drive clinical trial progress in AML and MF, including identifying clinical trial sites and interacting with investigators to enhance patient enrollment • Act as primary liaison to investigators interested in company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research • Represent the client at scientific congresses and professional society meetings • Provide clinical presentations and respond to unsolicited scientific information requests • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with regional and national plans • Gather insights from key opinion leaders and report them to support clinical and commercial strategy • Support local tactical activities, market landscape analysis, competitive intelligence, and identification of therapeutic trends and unmet needs • Complete assigned tasks, documentation, milestones, and required training • Help develop and implement MSL clinical education and scientific programs • Mentor peers and support cross-functional activities • Document field-based activities and provide special project updates • Travel approximately 50-60%, including overnight travel as needed
• Advanced degree in clinical specialty (MD, PhD, PharmD) and previous hemato-oncology medical science liaison (MSL) experience strongly preferred • Candidates with equivalent experience in relevant fields will also be considered • Previous industry medical affairs experience required, preferably in MSL and/or headquartered based medical affairs role • Demonstrated experience effectively presenting clinical/scientific information required • Expert understanding of the health care delivery system and its impact on patient care and regional medical care • Experience with clinical trial design, conduct and evaluation • Demonstrated experience supporting clinical trial progress as a field-based member, with a proven ability to engage investigators and drive recruitment • Experience as an international MSL, with responsibilities across multiple countries desirable • Ability to relate and work with a wide range of people to achieve results • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule and territory management • Ability to make decisions which have a significant impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services • Ability to create materials such as reports, presentations for inside and outside the organization, and present/speak to groups • Fluent in English and fluency in the language of a local country is required • Approximately 50-60% travel is required; overnight travel is required as needed • Must comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
