• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks for the construction and development firm • Reconcile and categorize a high volume of transactions with precision and consistency • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with FP&A alongside external accountants • Support tax preparation, audit coordination, and compliance processes • Process payroll via Gusto and maintain accurate employee and vendor records • Liaise with local government offices for permits, plan sets, and document submissions • Manage workers’ compensation audits, insurance renewals, and vendor compliance documentation • Maintain well-organized digital systems for financial, operational, and compliance files • Work directly with the CEO to manage schedules, correspondence, and project documentation • Coordinate communication with partners, vendors, and key stakeholders • Provide reliable administrative support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations • Develop and refine internal systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy • Handle light marketing tasks such as gathering client testimonials or monitoring online reviews
• 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting experience • 1+ year managing financial operations for construction, real estate, or professional services (preferably for U.S.-based clients) • Certified QuickBooks user with proven technical proficiency • Prior experience supporting C-level executives with high attention to detail and integrity • Strong English communication skills (C1 level or higher) • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (academic honors or scholar status preferred)
