📋 Description

• Conduct independent Customs-related research requested by clients • Complete HTS US classification projects across products and industries • Exercise independent judgment during customer consulting projects • Coordinate with internal and external resources to complete projects on time and to client expectations • Research and interpret government import regulations and apply them to client situations • Develop solutions for complex import and export situations and recommend courses of action • Ensure opinions comply with U.S. Government regulatory requirements for imports and exports • Analyze and interpret information from clients and consultants • Perform complex data analysis for goods across industries • Liaise with government departments to resolve client situations and projects • Prioritize and complete work according to project demands, customs requirements, and standards • Identify sales opportunities • Remain current on Customs regulations, procedures, requirements, and other federal trade laws • Cross-train for additional duties assigned by management • Provide support to Senior Trade Advisors on tasks and large projects

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • If offered the position, must possess or be willing and able to obtain a Customs Broker’s License, which includes US Citizenship • Minimum of 5 years experience in the customs brokerage or auditing field • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred • Experience with Binding Ruling process and submission • Experience with AD/CVD Valuation • Experience with USMCA eligibility verification • Experience with PGAs and PGA requirements • HTS Classification experience • Country of Origin determination, including familiarity with Free Trade Agreements • Experience with Customs entry processing, particularly in a customs brokerage environment • Ability to conduct Customs-related research and interpret government import regulations • Ability to perform complex data analysis • Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and meet deadlines • Up to 10% travel
