📋 Description

• Report to the CEO and lead the Product function • Define and communicate product vision and strategy • Translate strategy into a longer-term product roadmap • Establish product management practices, operating rhythms, and agile ways of working • Improve prioritization, backlog management, planning, and decision-making • Guide the transition from a legacy desktop application to a modern web-based product • Balance innovation, technical investment, customer commitments, and business priorities • Lead, coach, and develop three Product Owners • Engage directly with customers to understand workflows, challenges, and priorities • Present product direction and incorporate customer feedback into strategy and planning • Partner with Development, Sales, Marketing, and industry leadership • Contribute product insight to positioning, packaging, pricing, strategic accounts, and growth discussions • Help the Product team adopt AI-enabled ways of working, including the AI Delivery Life Cycle methodology

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading a product team • Experience building product management structure, practices, and accountability • Experience coaching and developing Product Owners or Product Managers • Ability to provide practical, hands-on product leadership • Ability to translate customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives into product strategy and an actionable roadmap • Experience prioritizing competing needs and making thoughtful trade-offs • Understanding of agile principles, backlog management, roadmapping, prioritization, and product lifecycle practices • Experience engaging directly with customers and using customer insights to inform product decisions • Ability to present product direction and build credibility with customers and industry stakeholders • Ability to build cross-functional relationships across Development, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams • Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to influence decisions, challenge assumptions, and push back constructively • Curiosity and sound judgment when learning a specialized market • Openness to emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development • Curiosity about AI’s impact on product discovery, development, and delivery • Willingness to learn, experiment, and help a team adopt AI-enabled tools or methodologies
