📋 Description

• Support the International Tax team on special projects including international business expansion, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions • Provide tax guidance for international contracts, transactions, and strategic initiatives • Assess impact of emerging jurisdictional, regional and global tax rules • Manage and respond to tax authority interventions across various jurisdictions • Assist with the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and related matters • Partner with Finance, Legal, HR, Treasury, and business units on tax matters • Develop successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders (incl. tax authorities) • Provide tax advice to senior stakeholders across the business on a range of tax matters • Assist in the preparation and analysis of the Company’s income tax provision across certain jurisdictions for US GAAP and local GAAP financial reporting • Oversight and management of direct tax filings and payment obligations in certain jurisdictions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance or law from an accredited college/university • Licensed CPA/CA/CTA or similar • Minimum three years tax experience in industry and/or in a public accounting firm; Insurance industry experience is an advantage but not essential • Experience and knowledge of tax reporting within the framework of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS financial reporting is desired but not essential • Ability to research and apply tax law to business transactions and strong project management skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
