📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales technical support for public sector customers and prospects in the United Kingdom • Act as a trusted advisor to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and design solutions • Partner with Account Managers to understand and solve customer challenges • Conduct whiteboard network architecture sessions and product presentations • Architect, design, and propose data center, routing, campus network, and security solutions • Perform hands-on customer proof-of-concepts and initial network deployments • Create design guidelines and recommend improvements to customer networks • Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFQs • Lead customer feature requests from requirements through implementation and deployment • Provide customer feedback to Product Management and Development • Represent Arista at industry events and conferences • Monitor competitive solutions, products, and services • Author white papers, blogs, and technology/product articles

🎯 Requirements

• Active Developed Vetting (DV) clearance • Fluent English, written and spoken • Ability to travel nationally to support customers • Technical degree required • Networking design and implementation experience • Practical routing and switching experience, including relevant protocols • Recent data center, routing, and/or campus network architecture design experience • Excellent presentation skills • Deep knowledge of switching and routing protocols and technologies, including Spanning Tree, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, and network segmentation • Knowledge of Service Provider technologies is a plus • Knowledge of campus technologies is a plus • Understanding of the competitor technology landscape • Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, or Network Consulting Engineer experience preferred • Practical security deployment experience is a plus • Recent hands-on CLI experience highly desired • Experience and/or interest in NetOps/DevOps using Python and Ansible • CCIE, JNCIE, or industry-equivalent certification
