📋 Description
• Provides engineering plans and designs for Special Systems for aviation and transportation projects • Provide design expertise in Special Systems such as fiber optics, telecom rooms, network architecture, video surveillance systems, access control systems, airport operational systems • Develop coordinated design documents and models using Revit BIM and CAD platforms • Supports QA/QC reviews by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards • Participates in project design meetings and coordination sessions, providing technical input as needed • Prepares bid documents, construction drawings, and specifications in collaboration with the project team
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related • 5-years minimum Telecom, Security, Low Voltage, or Special Systems design experience required • Strong knowledge of low voltage, telecom, technology, and security systems design • Understanding of engineering design packages and production workflows • Proficiency in Revit BIM and CAD preferred • Knowledge of QA/QC process and ability to produce technically accurate deliverables
