📋 Description

• Conduct internal hazard studies (fire, internal flooding, dropped loads, pipe rupture) and external hazard studies (earthquakes, climatic events) • Perform functional safety analyses, particularly analyses of loss of functions/equipment and Fukushima studies • Produce accident studies, probabilistic safety assessments, and conventional risk analyses • Draft chapters of the Safety Analysis Report (SAR or PCSR) • Analyze the impact of modifications on safety analyses • Coordinate hazard-related activities across different client entities • Report to the project team and contribute to tracking and managing outstanding technical issues • Draft hazard-related justification notes for submission to French or international Safety Authorities • Depending on experience, provide technical support and supervise teams

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in General Engineering or Nuclear Safety Engineering • At least 2 years’ experience conducting safety studies in the nuclear sector or performing risk analyses • Rigorous, versatile, and self-sufficient approach • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills • Excellent written communication skills • Knowledge of the operation of PWR/EPR plants or incident and accident management is a plus • Knowledge of methodologies and/or Doctrine documents (e.g., SAR, PCSR, RGE, STE) is a plus • Fluent English is essential
