📋 Description

• Develop 2D CAD drawings including detailed process flow diagrams (PFD) and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID). • Prepare 3D CAD/BIM models: plant layouts, piping design, isometrics, MTO, general arrangement drawings, detailed drawings, and sketches. • Perform layout optimization engineering throughout design phases to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. • Participate in 3D model reviews, layout reviews, design reviews, and technical meetings. • Ensure compliance with all design safety factors, tolerances, specifications, standards, codes, legislation, and requirements. • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and the supply chain to achieve a coordinated and cohesive design. • Maintain thorough records of the design process and manage CAD/BIM design documentation/databases. • Report status and updates to the management team and support targets for quality, time, and budget. • Mediate and resolve issues with stakeholders and adhere to company statutory H&S Policies and rules.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role. • Collaborative team player. • Proficient in 2D CAD systems like AutoCAD. • Skilled in 3D CAD/BIM systems (Revit, Inventor, Solidworks, Solid Edge, Siemens NX, PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar). • Professionally qualified in an engineering-related field. • SC Clearance or the capability to achieve it; must meet UK security clearance criteria. • Knowledge of layout optimization, piping design, isometrics, MTO, general arrangement drawings, and detailed drawings. • Adherence to statutory H&S policies, standards, codes, and legislation.
