📋 Description

• Provide management and oversite for the Leadership Development portfolio (ASTHO Leadership Institute, Essentials in Leadership and Management, Developing Executive Leaders in Public Health) • Function as a liaison between the leadership development team and other ASTHO teams to ensure the effective planning and successful execution of relevant programming, participant experience, and measurable outcomes • Oversee the Senior Leader Reserve Corps program to connect ASTHO alumni with governmental public health agency leaders • Develop a comprehensive implementation plan for annual leadership offerings based on funding and staffing needs • Ensure quality design and delivery of training programs for virtual, hybrid and in-person events • Serve as a main point of contact with project funders to deliver updates, challenges, and track deliverables • Make presentations and share data with partners, stakeholders, and the executive leadership team • Prepare briefing materials, and annotated agendas for the ASTHO president, president-elect, and CEO • Engage with communications, public relations, engagement and event team leaders to develop a comprehensive plan to market, promote and capture program experiences and testimonials on an ongoing basis • Oversee content development for annual leadership forums for members and executive leaders • Collaborate with project teams to identify relevant resources and opportunities for collaboration with the Leadership Development programs

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in public health, Higher Ed, Human Resources / Leadership Development, or related field preferred • Minimum 7 years of documented experience managing/developing learning programs or progressive experience in a relevant area • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required • Comfort leading small group instruction, in-person and virtual • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a heavy volume, high paced environment • Experience working for membership associations and/or government officials is preferred • Ability and willingness to travel based on in-person convenings
