📋 Description
• Provide technical guidance on highways and/or active travel engineering projects • Mentoring and coaching team members and taking responsibility for the technical development of staff • Solving engineering problems • Developing works cost estimates • Checking, reviewing and overseeing the work of others • Liaise with key clients and discuss design/technical solutions • Delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress • Support the business in winning work including preparing bids and tenders
🎯 Requirements
• BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or Professionally Qualified • Experience/knowledge of the design and design process involved in highways and active travel schemes • Proven ability to advise clients on technical matters • Proven ability to coach and develop team members • A willingness to work flexibly to deliver projects to time and budget • Project Management and or Highways Discipline Management experience • Experience of pricing and bidding on tender opportunities • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a larger multi-discipline team
