đź“‹ Description

• Assist in responding to subpoenas, discovery requests, and regulatory inquiries; gather and organize documents and prepare evidence for pleadings • Assist In-House Counsel in reviewing, editing, and drafting agreements, waivers, and business contracts • Act as liaison among parties, including courts or neutrals, for scheduling and information sharing • Organize and manage documents, create spreadsheets and retrieval systems for tracking legal defense costs and indemnity/self-insured retention funds • Assist with reviewing, tracking, and managing insurance claims related to property damage, liability, or employee matters; create/update master tracker • Maintain legal calendar for IHC and others (depositions, deadlines, mediations) • Track and organize risk management information and documentation (incidents) • Document management: filing, indexing, maintaining document databases and tracking key dates for vendor agreements and service contracts • Billing and timekeeping: track billable hours and expenses with external parties • Perform other duties or projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Preferred experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role within a law firm or legal department • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively • Customer-service oriented with ability to deliver professional services to internal and external clients • Self-motivated, amiable and resourceful; ability to work with individuals at all levels • Acute time-management, keen attention to detail, and ability to take initiative • Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
