📋 Description

• Plan and implement the accounting close process and related activities to ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal financial policies • Manage complex accounting processes for software development, allocations, stock-based compensation, commission capitalization, intercompany and consolidation • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, benefits accounting, and quarterly and annual payroll tax filings • Oversee all Accounts Payable functions including expense reporting and accruals • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and identify key trends in the P&L and balance sheet • Lead preparation for annual financial audit, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders • Champion team growth through mentorship and hands-on leadership • Build scalable systems that drive efficiency and transparency

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting experience and 4+ years leading teams • Mastery of US GAAP and SaaS accounting • CPA certification and a passion for operational excellence • Experience streamlining and optimizing accounting systems and processes • Clear, confident communication and an ability to influence cross-functionally • A strategic view of the numbers, with close attention to detail • Ability to manage ambiguity and meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • “Roll-up the sleeves” approach to accomplishing all necessary tasks
