📋 Description

• You’ll play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the configuration management processes for our mission-critical systems and projects. • Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures. • Ensure the integrity and consistency of configuration data throughout the engineering/project lifecycle. • Oversee the configuration status accounting and reporting processes. • Identify and mitigate risks related to configuration management throughout the engineering lifecycle. • Define, manage and run configuration control boards (CCBs) and facilitate configuration audits and reviews. • Ensure to coordinate with all engineering disciplines, quality assurance, and project management teams to ensure compliance with configuration management standards. • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the configuration management for the overall engineering function. • Provide guidance and training to team members on configuration management best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of configuration management standards and practices (e.g., Def Stan 05-57, ISO 10007, CMMI) • Significant years of experience in configuration management, preferably within the defence industry • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment • Proficiency in configuration management tools and software with a strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, CMPIC) is a plus. • Formal qualifications in Engineering (min level 5) such as HNC/HND or equivalent experience. • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
