📋 Description

• Plan the Availability of the Royal Navy’s Submarines • Optimise through life maintenance plans for the Royal Navy’s in service submarines. • Analyse complex data, balance maintenance requirements against operational programmes. • Collaborate with subject matter experts across Babcock, the Ministry of Defence and industry partners. • Support programme changes and “what if” scenarios to keep submarines safe, capable and available. • Use a dedicated asset management tool to manage maintenance requirements through life. • Collaborate with experts across Babcock, the Royal Navy, MOD and industry partners to optimise work packages. • Contribute to the development of the through life boat plan application alongside the team.

🎯 Requirements

• Engineering experience with a solid understanding of maintenance requirements and planning. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels. • Ability to produce clear technical reports and identify improvement opportunities. • Commitment to continuous professional development. • Strong IT skills and experience analysing data in Excel or similar tools. • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or HNC/HND with demonstrable relevant experience. • Marine, defence or asset intensive industry experience is welcomed. • The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
