📋 Description

• Support the marketing team through collection, organization and maintenance of marketing materials using web-based and network-based systems • Provide direct support to marketing staff by organizing and producing materials for pre-qualification efforts, proposals or presentations • Gather qualification/proposal development support, compile and check information, complete forms and reports, assist in proposal close-out process • Perform varied tasks: preparing reports, tracking and evaluating results, coordinating program developments, answering phone, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquiries and appointments • Participate in meetings and interface with various teams; assist management in analyzing data and work on special projects • Community management: engage audiences on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube to develop brand awareness and affinity • Outreach to bloggers, media outlets and power users to share newly published content • Flag customer service queries and issues; develop ways to grow audiences organically • Provide marketing support to Brand Management, Digital and Social teams and assist with execution of product promotions and digital/social campaigns • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support new product rollouts across brick & mortar and e-commerce marketplaces • Research end-user insights and competitor activities • Research and write short- and long-form content; refresh and optimize existing blog content; upload and edit blog content in WordPress; source, crop and upload imagery for blogs and campaigns • Assist with development of social media-first content: pitch ideas, write social copy, source images and create assets; monitor trends for real-time opportunities • Support Marketing and PR campaigns as needed, including analyzing travel data

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate institution • Preferably pursuing a degree in business, communications, English, marketing, photography, public relations, or related field • Excellent storytelling, verbal and written communication skills • Collaborative spirit but able to work independently • Interest in writing and ability to adapt to a brand tone of voice • Strong spelling, grammar and proofreading skills • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines • Active on social media; proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter • Analytical skills: ability to gather and analyze data and develop fact-based recommendations • Project management skills and strong work ethic • Prior experience managing a professional social media account or blog (preferred) • A strong creative eye and understanding of photo composition • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Internship is credit-based and non-paid (160 hours)
