📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales technical and design support for Biamp products • Educate end users, consultants, AV integrators, and distributors on Biamp product design and performance • Help clients specify the right Biamp system for their projects • Provide training and coaching to distributor and AV integrator design and installation teams • Partner with account managers, business development, and technical support teams • Lead technology evaluation during the sales process for major projects and key clients • Support system design development • Manage technical communications with end users, consultants, integrators, and distributors through product ordering • Write or contribute to proposals, draft design drawings, provide quotations, and create technical documentation • Develop relationships with project decision-makers and technical staff • Demonstrate and train customers on Biamp products and solutions • Drive the sales process through technical and design decisions • Participate in regional trade shows and deliver equipment demonstrations • Maintain and improve sales techniques and technical skills • Act as key technical advisor and product advocate with Biamp sales managers • Respond to technical and functional elements of RFIs/RFPs • Maintain and upgrade the experience center • Support operations manual creation for new products • Create and proofread online knowledgebase content • Report client technical feedback and improvement opportunities to Biamp leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Comprehensive general technical audio, video and control knowledge • Experience with programming and installing AV and control systems • AV networking design experience; CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, ENS, CompTIA or other relevant IT industry qualifications are a big plus • Good computer literacy, including working knowledge of MS Office, Visio, CAD programs, and EASE Focus / Address • Experience interfacing with distributors, system integrators, consultants, and end-users in the professional audio-visual and control industry • Strong technical presentation skills • Ability to address a wide range of business and technical people • Ability to build long-term customer relationships • Ability to work as part of a team • Experience with international travel • Excellent written and verbal English and German skills • Fluency in another European language, Dutch or French, is a big plus • Relevant degree or professional qualifications are desirable • Ability to travel often and at short notice in Germany, with occasional travel throughout Europe and to Beaverton, Oregon
