📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and process high-volume market and onchain data in real time. • Develop streaming and event-driven systems that handle order books, trades, liquidations, funding rates, and market microstructure signals with low latency. • Architect and deploy distributed data storage solutions (data lakehouse, real-time stores, analytical DBs) that become the single source of truth for HyperSignals. • Ensure strong data quality, observability, and reliability across all pipelines — including validation layers, monitoring, and automated recovery. • Collaborate with product, quant, and engineering teams to deliver models, datasets, and APIs that power trading execution, risk analysis, and strategy tooling. • Build internal data tools and self-service interfaces to empower teams to explore, analyze, and extract insights from massive datasets. • Stay ahead of the curve on data infrastructure, real-time architectures, DeFi data flows, and new indexing technologies to ensure HyperSignals remains best-in-class.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional data engineering or backend engineering experience, ideally supporting high-volume or low-latency systems. • Strong proficiency in Python or Scala, with production experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and streaming workflows. • Deep understanding of data engineering fundamentals: distributed computing, event-driven designs, schema design, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration. • Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Spark/PySpark, Flink, Kafka, Kinesis, Presto/Athena, or similar). • Solid SQL skills and fluency with both SQL and NoSQL databases. • Experience integrating with exchange APIs, WebSocket feeds, or other real-time data sources. • Familiarity with perpetual futures, market microstructure, or DeFi trading data is a strong plus. • Proven track record of shipping reliable, scalable data systems in production.
