📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain advanced, reusable, and reliable native Android applications using Kotlin. • Ensure optimal performance and a responsive UI/UX across a wide range of Android devices, including phones and tablets with varying screen sizes. • Implement and optimize complex features leveraging location services, such as real-time tracking, geofencing, and integrations with mapping platforms (e.g., Mapbox, Google Maps). • Develop integrations with external devices and peripherals using technologies like Bluetooth/BLE, NFC, and USB. • Develop robust systems for creating, managing, storing, and synchronizing documents and data, ensuring offline-first capabilities and efficient data handling (Room, SQLite, Firestore). • Manage your work across the entire development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to automated testing and debugging. • Oversee the complete CI/CD pipeline and deployment process, including managing releases to the Google Play Store (handling different tracks, staged rollouts, and app signing). • Champion best practices, perform thorough code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level developers through your expertise and example. • Work closely with backend developers to design and consume RESTful APIs (Retrofit, OkHttp) and WebSockets, and collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature specifications. • Identify and correct performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and ensure the application is optimized for speed and battery life.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Android Developer with a strong portfolio of published applications on the Google Play Store. • Expert proficiency in Kotlin and a deep understanding of the Android SDK and its core components. • Strong experience with modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and Jetpack components (e.g., Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, Room, ViewModel). • Hands-on experience with Location Services (LocationManager) and mapping libraries (e.g., Mapbox SDK, Google Maps API). • Demonstrable experience integrating with external hardware via Bluetooth (Classic/BLE), USB, or NFC. • Solid understanding of file I/O, local storage strategies (Room, SQLite), and experience with cloud-based NoSQL databases (specifically Google Firestore). • Experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Hilt or Dagger). • Proficiency with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso). • Experience managing the full deployment lifecycle using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and the Google Play Console. • Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and a commitment to writing clean, scalable code.
