📋 Description

• Design and Implement Scalable Data Infrastructure: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and reliable infrastructure supporting next-generation data pipelines. • Build & Automate Data Pipelines: Engineer and optimize critical data pipelines using cutting-edge technologies such as Fivetran, Snowflake, Apache Kafka, and Apache Flink. • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Drive the adoption and implementation of Infrastructure as Code principles, primarily utilizing Terraform, to provision and manage cloud resources (AWS/Azure). • Cloud Platform Management: Manage and optimize cloud-based data platforms and services on AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost efficiency. • Containerization & Orchestration: Implement and maintain containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for data-intensive applications and services. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a crucial bridge between application development teams, data engineering teams, and operations, ensuring seamless deployment and operation of data systems. • Operational Support & Reliability: Provide expert support for data infrastructure, assisting customer support with escalated issues and working to improve system reliability, monitoring, and alerting. • Performance Optimization: Continuously identify and implement improvements for data pipeline performance, scalability, and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Senior Data Infrastructure, Senior DevOps, or Senior Data Engineer role with a strong focus on infrastructure and operations. • Proven expertise in building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform on either AWS or Azure. • Familiarity with modern data pipeline technologies, including: • - Data Integration/ELT: Fivetran • - Data Warehousing: Snowflake • - Real-time Messaging/Streaming: Apache Kafka • - Stream Processing: Apache Flink • Strong proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Solid understanding of data architecture principles. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Application, Data, Operations, Support). • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving infrastructure and data pipeline issues.
