• Provide centralized leadership and oversight of Practical Process Improvement activities within the assigned Group • Serve as the primary point of contact for PPI and ensure alignment with enterprise standards • Define and implement governance frameworks, operating models, and prioritization mechanisms for continuous improvement initiatives • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align PPI activities with organizational priorities and strategic objectives • Lead integration of PPI methodologies into core workflows to improve efficiency, quality, scalability, and business performance • Oversee a portfolio of initiatives and provide program and project management support for complex or high-impact efforts • Establish standards, tools, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms • Champion PPI, Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies • Coach leaders and teams, build continuous improvement capabilities, and foster operational excellence • Prioritize, resource, execute, and measure initiatives to deliver meaningful outcomes • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration in complex, matrixed environments • Support implementation activities requiring travel up to 50%
• Advanced degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in operations, biopharmaceuticals, clinical development, or a related field • Demonstrated experience operating at the Director level in complex, cross-functional environments • Strong expertise in Practical Process Improvement (PPI), Lean Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methodologies with a proven record of delivering measurable results • Experience leading and delivering complex initiatives, including governance frameworks, operating models, and scalable processes • Strong program and project management skills, including portfolio prioritization, execution, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives • Experience working in matrixed organizations; ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive alignment, and coach and develop teams • Strong business and financial acumen • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with a structured, data-driven approach to problem solving • Ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency with project management and process improvement tools • Ability to travel up to 50% • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent) preferred • Experience building or scaling continuous improvement programs within a global organization preferred • Knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO, and other relevant quality standards preferred
