📋 Description
• Advise students through every element of the medical school admissions process, including school selection, primary applications, personal statement editing and review, secondary applications, interviews, financial aid review, and acceptances • Communicate with students via email, video conference, and phone • Work with Blueprint management staff to receive and kick off student engagements • Report progress as needed • Do not write application materials for students, intercede directly with admissions personnel on students’ behalf, or engage in unprofessional or unethical behavior
🎯 Requirements
• B.A. or B.S. is required • First-hand expertise in the medical school admissions process as medical school admissions staff or faculty, undergraduate pre-med advisor, or professional medical school admissions consultant • Experience working directly in an advisory role with students seeking admission to medical school • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively • Demonstrated ability to set goals, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments and contacts successfully • Candidates can be located anywhere with a fast and stable internet connection
