📋 Description

• Lead a small, high-impact team of 2–3 platform engineers • Report to the Head of Data Engineering within the Data & Analytics – Data Platform Engineering team • Coach team members and drive agile delivery • Manage OKRs • Perform hands-on engineering work • Design reliable Terraform/Terragrunt modules on GCP • Champion data security controls including Dataplex and DLP • Establish standard, self-service developer tools • Empower downstream data teams to build with confidence

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering • Initial experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical teams • Deep practical experience with Terraform/Terragrunt for infrastructure architecture and management • Preferably experience with Google Cloud Platform • Strong familiarity with GCP data services: BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GKE, and IAM • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes • Platform-as-a-Product mindset focused on customer enablement, platform reliability, system governance, and security • Professional English language skills at B2 level or higher • Open-source-first mindset • Exposure to PySpark and open table formats such as Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake • Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude • Experience or strong interest in monitoring LLM-driven pipelines • Application and CV must be submitted in English
