📋 Description

• Set up, install, and independently execute hydrographic and topographic survey work for projects in line with safety, health, environment, and quality standards • Assist project managers in running projects of varying sizes • Interact with dredging plant requiring survey input • Administer project survey data • Perform relevant calibrations • Report within the company QA system • Solve technical survey problems during projects • Supervise trainees and junior surveyors • Stay informed about survey-related trends and developments • Suggest detailed improvements to the Survey Operations Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, such as Hydrography, Marine Geography, Marine Science, Land Survey or related field • 3 years + experience in near and/or offshore survey industry • Detailed, experience-based knowledge of multibeam and topographic systems • Experience using Beamworkx and/or Qinsy (QPS software) • Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel • Capability to lead data acquisition, equipment installation and mobilisations • Ability to work independently, with a proactive mentality • Full UK driving licence • Right to Work in the UK • Desirable: Previous experience in mobilisation of hydrographic equipment and vessels • Desirable: Experience within the dredging/marine construction sector • Desirable: Dredgeview software experience • Desirable: Drone (LiDAR/Photogrammetry) survey experience
