📋 Description

• Architect and build interconnected systems that run the business using third-party tools, MCP servers, internal APIs, lightweight web apps, and automated workflows • Build and maintain MCP servers exposing data platform capabilities and enterprise business systems to internal tools and AI workflows • Build internal APIs to enrich programmatically addressable resources • Build lightweight Streamlit web apps and dashboards supporting internal processes • Develop stateful applications that ensure SOPs are followed in compliance with policy • Develop and manage automated workflows and Python pipelines • Manage an SDLC converting high-value macros and user-built tools into standalone services and low-code workflows • Define coding standards and best practices for interacting with AI agents across Branch • Collaborate with stakeholders across Branch to scope and deliver solutions • Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to technical quality

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python engineering experience • 3+ years of experience designing and building APIs; FastAPI or Flask preferred • 3+ years of experience with full-stack Python development • Experience building or working with MCP servers • Experience with deterministic LLM programming, including LangChain, UserPromptSubmit, and PostToolUse • Familiarity with OLTP databases and caching technologies • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally • Proven ability to own the full lifecycle of a project • Background in fintech, payments, or financial services is nice to have • Experience with Streamlit or similar lightweight UI frameworks is nice to have • Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or n8n is nice to have • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is nice to have • Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship or transfer
