📋 Description

• Lead the design and implementation of secure data pipelines that support our analytics, AI/ML, and operational needs • Optimize the pipeline for scalability and reliability • Work closely with the data architects to establish the appropriate data models, streaming, and orchestration strategies • Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and storage solutions to meet business requirements • Optimize pipeline performance and costs • Demonstrate leadership in support of quality initiatives that achieve the expectations of prospects and maintain high renewal rates • Work closely with DevOps and Security teams to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards. • Champion processes that support team-led work planning, value delivery, and predictable execution • Participate in planning sessions that ensure quality objectives are well understood so that standards and metrics can be established • Deliver predictable operational support for both internal and external consumers of our technologies • Assisting in building a highly capable team based on great talent identification and recruiting • Help ensure that the engineering team is happy, prolific, and autonomous • Maximize the productivity of our technologies by assisting in the development of technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years in a senior or architect role • Proven experience designing large-scale data pipelines in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Expertise with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Flink, Beam). • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Typescript. • Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift). • Strong knowledge of streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub). • Understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2). • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies • Experience in technical team leadership • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
