📋 Description

• Perform general design coordination, technical and administrative support tasks. • Support the design team, facilitating smooth operations in managing design deliverables, coordinating construction administration tasks and ensuring that deliverables meet the client's expectations. • Complete routine assignments with the assistance of more experienced team members for more complex tasks. • Maintain basic master lists and logs during design and construction. • Coordinate specification development in Specification Development Platform (SpecLink). • Coordinate design deliverable content and manage design deliverables production. • Assist in developing design work breakdown structure and schedule. • Help prepare and implement project and quality management plans, project documentation and health and safety plans. • Coordinate and document basic QA/QC activities. • Maintain project collaboration sites. • Support Design Manager (DM) with Subject Matter Expert (SME) engagement for QC and scope, schedule and budget development and tracking. • Assist with subconsultant and teaming partner coordination. • Coordinates design team meetings, communications. • Prepare client presentation materials. • Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of design coordination or related professional experience. • Minimum two years’ experience in a professional office setting required. • Experience in project coordination and construction specification standards (EJCDC) in the A&E and construction industry preferred. • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Power Point, Project, SharePoint, Bluebeam and ProjectWise skills are a plus. • Anticipate project needs and have the ability to identify work assignments independently. • Comfortable working directly with senior managers and technical staff. • Good communication skills (written and verbal) are essential. • Proactive and self-motivated. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize required. • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment required. • Willing to work occasional over-time.
