• Spearhead the optimization of our QuickBooks environment, resolving integration challenges and implementing best practices • Lead the reconciliation and cleanup of banking transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting • Maintain and enhance DCAA-compliant accounting processes • Manage complex chart of accounts aligned with government contracting requirements • Implement and monitor system controls to prevent duplicate transactions • Optimize integration between QuickBooks and expense management systems • Provide expert guidance on financial system improvements • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all bookkeeping activities
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience • Demonstrated expertise in DCAA compliance and government contracting accounting would be a big bonus but not required. • Proven track record managing complex chart of accounts • Strong understanding of accounting system integrations, particularly with Expensify is a bonus • Excellence in problem-solving and system optimization • Superior attention to detail and accuracy • Strong English communication skills • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards • Experience with government contractor accounting preferred • Proven ability to optimize and maintain financial systems
