📋 Description

• Manage full database lifecycle to include initial installation and configuration of database technologies, to deploy engineered system design solutions, daily operations, administration, upgrades, and management of database technologies. • Provide high-end technical DBA support within a variety of operating environments while also supporting/assisting software development and operational teams with database definition, structure, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and security/integrity controls according to industry best practices. • Propose and implement enhancements to improve performance and reliability within the supported IT environments. • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle EBS environments, including both database and application tiers. • Manage EBS concurrent managers, workflows, and patch application. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across database and application tiers. • Subject matter expert: performance tuning and administration. Adept at analyzing and tuning SQL and Oracle EBS. • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution. • Work closely with L1/L2/L3 support teams to proactively identify and resolve issues. • Participate in 24x7 On Call rotation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB database experience in a mission critical 24x7 environment. • Proven experience managing Oracle EBS environments, including installation, patching, cloning, and performance tuning. • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with an understanding of ITIL. • Experience with full database lifecycle management: upgrades, patching, cloning, backups, and recovery. • Experience with automated database deployment using Jenkins, Ansible, or similar tools. • Understanding of Unix operating systems. • 4+ years AWS experience designing and supporting hyper-scale mission critical database architecture is a plus. • 2+ years proficiency in writing, profiling, and optimizing SQL queries for performance is a plus. • Understanding of Data Warehouse, Datamarts, Data Lake, Modeling and profiling is a plus. • **Business Wire will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.**
