📋 Description

• Work with AI teams to integrate APIs into agentic software and LLM-powered tools • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with proper error handling, validation, and authentication • Implement data retrieval functions from databases like Redshift, MySQL, and PostgreSQL • Deploy API updates to existing services using containerized environments (Docker, AWS) • Assist in troubleshooting API performance and reliability issues • Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate documentation • Participate in code reviews and follow team development standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience • 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience with APIs and backend development • Proficiency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js, and Express.js framework • Experience with RESTful API development and integration • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one relational database system • Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS) • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • A passion for emerging AI technologies and an understanding of the current offerings from leading AI platforms such as OpenAI
