📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and operate VMware-based virtualization platforms • Design, deploy, and operate software-defined networking platforms • Design, deploy, and operate software-defined storage platforms • Manage platforms across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments • Work with vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria, and Tanzu • Automate platform operations and manage capacity • Operate VMware platforms at enterprise scale • Support modern cloud-native workloads • Apply disciplined troubleshooting and operations practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • Five or more years of hands-on VMware platform engineering experience • Deep expertise in vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi • Hands-on experience with vSAN and storage policy management • Experience with NSX-T or NSX-V networking • Strong PowerCLI scripting skills and experience with automation tooling • Familiarity with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or VMware container platforms • Strong understanding of disaster recovery patterns and SRM • Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, network, and storage layers • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VCAP credentials preferred • Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS, AVS, or GCVE preferred • Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) preferred • Experience with Aria Operations / vRealize Operations preferred • Exposure to migration programs out of VMware to alternative virtualization platforms preferred • U.S. work authorization: U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply • New H-1B visa sponsorship is unavailable
