📋 Description

• Manage client relationships weekly and monthly as primary point of contact for Bookkeeper360 clients • Provide monthly financial reviews and ad-hoc client interactions • Perform general ledger maintenance, month-end close functions, and financial reporting • Manage and lead 1-3 bookkeepers handling AP/AR, expense categorization, and reconciliations • Delegate and review bookkeepers' work to ensure accuracy and timeliness • Reconcile tax returns to books and records • Complete back work projects efficiently and on time • Communicate routinely with manager about financial close, accounting issues, and deliverables • Leverage multiple cloud-based accounting systems and integrated add-ons to deliver services • Set up and manage cloud technology integrations and recommend apps to improve workflow and efficiencies

🎯 Requirements

• Passion for helping small businesses • 3-5 years experience overseeing the work of bookkeepers or staff accountants • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (BS/MS/MBA preferred) • Experience working in e-commerce, product companies, technology, professional service businesses, and real estate industries • Cloud-based accounting experience • Public accounting experience • Consulting experience • Expertise in accrual basis financial reporting • Experience with general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting • Experience managing AP/AR, expense categorization, and reconciliations • Ability to lead and review the work of 1-3 bookkeepers • Experience reconciling tax returns to books and records • Familiarity with cloud accounting systems and integrated add-ons • Ability to set up and manage cloud technology integrations and recommend apps to increase efficiencies • Sense of urgency to address tight deadlines and multitask accounting activities
