📋 Description

• Report to the CFO and report internal audit status to the Audit Committee • Build the audit function from the ground up • Design and own internal audit processes supporting global expansion • Establish, develop, and maintain internal audit infrastructure, including templates, risk registers, and reporting cadences • Conduct the end-to-end internal audit cycle, including planning, walkthroughs, control testing, and documentation • Evaluate global policies and processes to identify gaps and implement scalable improvements with process owners • Partner with operational stakeholders to identify elevated risk, execute audits, and drive corrective actions • Deliver actionable insights on risk and control effectiveness to senior leadership • Collaborate on new initiatives to ensure appropriate risk mitigation • Develop risk-based internal audit programs and monitor remediation through closure

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, technology or another quantitative field • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) • Prior experience in an internal audit function • Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability • Thoughtfulness and self-motivation • Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments • International travel 2-4 times a year for company events up to two weeks long • Nice-to-have: leadership ability • Nice-to-have: software or tech industry experience • Nice-to-have: public company finance and reporting experience
