📋 Description

• Deliver engaging and dynamic lectures online for our distance learning students. • Take on module leadership, ensuring consistent quality and development of learning materials and schemes of work. • Oversee assessment marking, create authentic assessments, and provide high-quality feedback. • Support the creation of new programmes and refresh existing ones to align with industry trends and employer requirements. • Collaborate with colleagues to provide academic advice and support to students. • Drive innovation in teaching methods, student support, and assessment. • Support the Department Link Coordinator in maintaining effective working relationships with transnational education (TNE) partners. • Work collaboratively with the Department Link Coordinator and partner colleagues to support programme delivery, academic standards, curriculum enhancement, and quality assurance activities.

🎯 Requirements

• MSc or equivalent qualification in Hospitality and Tourism or Business Management related field and/or substantial industry experience. • AdvanceHE Recognition - FHEA or willing to achieve within 12-18 months. • Experience in current and effective teaching, learning and assessment practices in Higher Education. • Evidence successful experience of working in programme teams and of being a creative and inspiring lecturer. • Experience of leading a project, intervention or module in teaching and learning. • Planning, leadership and delivery of modules within Hospitality and Tourism management. • Ensure all modules align with academic standards and regulatory requirements. • Support the development of new modules, from initial concept through to final implementation. • Prepare and curate materials for teaching resources to ensure they meet academic expectations and student needs. • Experience of working within a Transnational Education (TNE) partnership or international higher education setting.
