📋 Description
• Play a key role in shaping and enhancing one of our most important business platforms. • Responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of our Salesforce platform, with a particular focus on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. • Work closely with stakeholders from across the university to understand business needs. • Deliver innovative solutions, improve user adoption, and ensure the platform remains stable, secure, and fit for the future. • Contribute to enhancing data quality, streamlining business processes, and delivering new functionality that enables colleagues to work more efficiently and effectively. • Take a leading role in delivering our Salesforce roadmap, championing a configuration-first approach and helping to maximise the value of our investment in Salesforce. • Work collaboratively with the wider Business Systems team, influencing platform design, support complex business requirements, and drive continuous improvement across our Salesforce ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
• Significant hands-on experience in similar or related roles, including issue escalation and platform ownership. • 4+ years administering Salesforce in a complex organisation. • Advanced declarative configuration expertise (Flows, automation, security, reporting). • Strong understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience working within Agile or structured service delivery environments. • Salesforce Certified Administrator • Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant certifications (Desirable) • Experience with Omni‑Channel features (Desirable) • Experience mentoring administrators or supporting capability development (Desirable) • Experience working in Higher Education, public sector, or regulated environments (Desirable) • Familiarity with Jira or similar work and demand‑management tools (Desirable) • Experience supporting enterprise‑scale Salesforce users, data volumes, and governance structures (Desirable)
