📋 Description

• Perform accounts receivable valuation calculations in Kodiak RCA and evaluate monthly settlements of third-party reimbursement • Maintain systems related to third-party reimbursement calculations • Assist with month-end close by generating journal entries, reviewing prior-period estimates, and ensuring financial reporting compliance using Kodiak RCA • Review and analyze preliminary monthly net patient revenue and propose changes as necessary • Explain net revenue impacts of RCA calculations and adjustments to finance leadership and stakeholders • Prepare reports and packages supporting the monthly close process • Reconcile the source accounting system to the RCA system daily and complete reconciliations as needed • Maintain mappings for transaction codes, facility tables, patient types, financial classes, providers, and modifiers • Prepare monthly patient accounts receivable reconciliations for assigned entities and accounts • Collaborate with departments and financial operators on net revenue management activities • Participate in Kodiak RCA training and use in-application education resources • Provide accurate information promptly and support external audits, examinations, and financial projects • Assist with the year-end audit and issuance of audited consolidated financial statements • Promote ChristianaCare’s core values and behaviors throughout the Financial Accounting & Reporting Department

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting required • Healthcare financial or related experience required • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience • Experience performing store down and month-end close using Kodiak RCA • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred • Large-firm public accounting experience preferred • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
