📋 Description

• Assist Coding Management in coordinating coding and charging activities within the Coding Department • Communicate day-to-day with vendors • Manage Epic work queues • Investigate and complete coding updates and corrections • Coordinate appeals, denials, and rebills • Create and maintain complex Excel worksheets • Serve as the HIM Epic Super-user for coding • Work with Epic analysts to support coding and charging workflows, integrated 3M encoder, testing, and upgrades • Review dashboards and reports and report needs to coding leadership • Assess and monitor work queues, identify fluctuating needs, and escalate items • Process, record, and trend data • Monitor, triage, enter, and track IT tickets • Coordinate with departments to resolve missing documentation and ensure timely billing of visits • Perform other assigned or required duties

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years advanced knowledge of billing and coding workflow, procedures, and departmental processes • Compliance with HIPAA, data security guidelines, the Code of Business Conduct, applicable federal and state laws, regulations, company policies, and training requirements • Ability to protect covered information, cardholder data, and confidential customer information
